I hope this finds everyone enjoying the beautiful weather. I also want to take a minute to express my sadness to all affected by Katrina! How heart wrenching that devastation is!

The past couple days I've gotten some horrible news from a couple of my friends. One has lost her father to cancer (my heart, and condolences go out to her), and my best friend of I can't even tell you how many years is going through a break up with his wife, who he has known since childhood. It kills me so much to not be able to be there for him. He has always been there for me, through thick and thin, hard times and happy times. I just wish there was more that I could do.

Tomorrow is my babies 2nd Birthday! Wow! How time flies!! I have watched her at a couple different birthday parties, and I can't wait to see her expression when everyone is singing Happy Birthday to her! It should be a really fun day with her.

There is a funny for this post. Or I should say, something that I, myself, found funny. The other nite was my sons open house at school, and although late, his Dad came to see his classroom, ect. As we were walking down the hallway to his classroom, I had asked him if he could remember a girls name that we went to high school with. Well, when he remembered he said to me, "Martha, her name is Martha, baby." You should have seen the expression on his face when he'd realized what he said! Priceless! We've been split for going on 6 years now, so slips like that are just really funny to me. Granted, hubby didn't find it amuzing at all! (isn't it just too cute when that bit of jealousy comes out of men!)

Ok, I should really get to the housework and stuff that I've been putting off before my 'lil angel gets up from her nap. I'll post more about the rest of my day later on tonite.
